Bandaging Your Freshly Done Tattoo:
When your tattoo is finished, the tattoo is normally "wiped down" with "green soap" (or pink soap) then covered with a thin coat of A&D or another anti-bacterial ointment then bandaged or covered, usually with a plastic-wrap (such as Saran Wrap). This wrapping method has become the best method for new tattoos because it is easier to affix and secure to the new tattoo and is easy to remove later on - the tattoo won't stick to the plastic-wrap as it does to gauze bandages.
